Hanson Family Chiropractic, like most small businesses, started off humble. Over the years, we’ve grown and more team members have joined. We’ve welcomed more people into what we call our “tribe.” With deep roots in the Batavia community, we’re also well-known in the Geneva, St. Charles area. We’re proud to say we’ve been voted Best Chiropractor in Kane County Batavia for multiple years running!

These scans are retaken every twelve visits. We’re focused on getting your results, which means we’ll always check your progress.
There are people who come to us for a broad range of reasons.
- A young girl was smart, sporty and seemed healthy on the outside but had been constipated since birth. Her parents tried everything before bringing her to Dr. Hanson. Our advanced scans showed problems that would result in constipation. She had a bowel movement after her first adjustment and every day since. Unlike most young girls, she’s proud to tell people about her success story!
- A young boy was accident-prone and had sensory problems. The medical doctors talked about a spectrum diagnosis. After care, he went from being clumsy to riding a bike without training wheels. He’s a different kid today!
- A man in his 40s presented with back pain. Though he initially only wanted pain relief, he decided on a longer course of care, saying he’d tried everything else already. He soon reported that instead of the numb feeling that had plagued him mentally, he was starting to feel his emotions again.
- A mom was six months pregnant when she came in for back pain. She was under stress and had gestational diabetes. With care, her stress went down, her blood sugar normalized and neither affected her birth. Today, if she’s stressed, she gets adjusted and feels immediate relief.
We see many mothers who are burned out and in pain. Underneath it all is typically a lack of energy and sleep. These issues can manifest as pain, headaches, hormonal issues and fatigue. People are usually surprised when we tell them that half of our patients are kids and babies. Though you may not realize it, think of how traumatic the birthing process is. It’s no fun for Mom. Baby feels the same way but cannot communicate it to you. They’re twisted and torqued through the birth canal, placing stress on their body that can result in colic, not latching, ear infections and further as they get older. They might get a diagnosis, which snowballs into new challenges at each subsequent stage of life.
The younger in life we can see a child, the better set up they are for health in their life, now and in the future. You can see a difference in a child whose mother was under care during their second or third pregnancies, but not during their first. Chiropractic can make tremendously positive changes in your child’s life!
